OK all this talk about updating your summer patio/outdoor space has in turn inspired me to share my FAVORITE summer sipping drink! It's simple, it's sweet, it's classy, it's summertime romance in a glass... :)
Its a Rosé Spritzer! And here is how to make it...
1 bottle of Rosé
1 can of Italian Lemon Soda (I like to use San Pellegrino Limonata)
2 to 3 dashes grapefruit bitters
1 sprig of whatever herb is handy. (I have a rosemary bush and a lavender bush in my backyard so thats what I like use but thyme, mint, or even basil would work too!)
A few raspberries or strawberries.
Toss it all in a pretty glass with ice, close your eyes, take a sip and a deep breath...imagine yourself in the French countryside... *le sigh
P.S. The Italian countryside can also work for this exorcise ;)
